Sona Sati Organics Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its distillery in Rajapattin Khoti in Baikunthpur in Gopalganj district of Bihar. The project involves expanding molasses based distillery production capacity from 45 klpd to 75 klpd and a grain based distillery of 125 klpd.
Land required for the project is already available. The project also involves increasing cogeneration power plant capacity from 1 MW to 5 MW. The expanded distillery will produce ethanol. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 1250 million.
